Their determination to overcome physical disabilities, social problems and misconception, towards becoming achievers. 1) Kadir Bin Hamid - 13 years old, Secondary One student of mixed race; his father is Malay, while his mother is Chinese. He is born with a physical disability; he walks with an aid of crutches. Despite his physical disability, he will prove that nothing is impossible. 2) Roselinda Binte Hamid - Kadir's sister. 22 years old. She has mixed features of Chinese and Malay, pretty and sweet, witty and intelligent, yet she is unable to get that one chance to achieve her dream career. 3) Mother - Mother of Roselinda and Kadir, and the wife of Hamid. Chinese lady, 45 years old, plump, fair, speaks Malay language. 4) Hamid - 46 years old, taxi driver, Malay man, father of Roselinda and Kadir. 5) Tan Da Ming ("Ah Ming") - 13 years old, Secondary School, Chinese student. He is outspoken, witty, playful, and easy with people. He is a dreamer and easily frightened by the dark, the flies and other little elements in his surrounding nature.
