Posting: RED INK MEDIA is starting production on a brand new interactive video production tentatively titled 'The Flat', a psychological horror thriller. Synopsis: A woman rents a new flat to escape emotional scars of her past, but finds out that there is something strangely disturbing in the new flat. At night, she is haunted by noises that seem to come from the rubbish chute. Is it a figment of her imagination or does the flat hides a secret that is even more sinister than hers? We are looking out for talented individuals who are creative, hard-working and eager to learn. While experience may not be necessary, a good attitude is a must. We are looking out for the following people to join the creative team. Pleaste note that this is an experimental project, so please do not expect full professional pay. Posting: We are a group of students who graduated from J Team Scriptwriting Course last year, and are now embarking on our first filmmaking project with a short film entitled 'Colours'. We are currently assembling a production team comprising: 1) Cameraman - One who has a good sense of colours, has experience filming in black & white as well as colours, and has filmed visual effects shots with green/blue screens before. Is able to storyboard and advise the director on capturing the best visuals to convey the script's message most effectively. 2) Editor - One who has created visual effects video sequences before. Is able to compose live video footages with 3D animated objects to create believable images. Has a good sense of colours. 3) 3D Animator - One who can create realistic 3D objects and manipulate objects in live video footages. Our film will have scenes that need to display the girl's incongruence with her world, and we'll be relying on visual effects to achieve this connotation. Hence we are searching for expertise in this area to help us make our visualisation come to life on video. We regret to declare that we actually haven't got too much budget for this production (but we've got plenty of heart & passion), so we might not be able to pay you professional fees for this work. If you do not mind helping a group of filmmaking aspirants starting out on their first piece of work achieve their dreams, we greatly appreciate your participation in this project. It is a modern fairytale about a colour-blind girl's struggle to find colours in her life, how she got more than she bargained for, and her realisation that it is as important to give as it is to take.
